but what a way to lose.

I knew from the beginning that it was going to be a great game but I never thought it'd be this crazy!
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and my voice is practically gone! I screamed so loud and boo-ed so hard at the stupid refs for calling penalties that weren't penelties. ( cost us the game.. )

but when a relatively unknown ( to me ) #18 Park, cut between the two San Jose defence and out-deked the Goaltender( khabibulen i think... ) to take a 3 to 2 lead in the 3rd I screamed so loud and jumped up and knocked over my pop-corn all under my seat.

what a great game.

Oh ya, and I also got a free t-shirt just for signing up for Vancouver Canuck's MasterCard.
I've been back from Kelowna for a week and a bit I'm not sure exactly, but I've been working everyday.
Yesterday was my day off but I enjoyed it with minor computer use mostly.

So instead of moving into Garden Court Estates ( its disgusting! ) we've found ( morelike Rhianna found ) a listing in the paper for a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath cable and utilities for 715$ a month. Garden Court wanted 750$ for a two bedroom 1 bath no utilities! Losers.

THe only issue is we don't know where this place is it yet. The ad didn't say so I'm thinking it might be far from work. And with no car, its gonna be hard to get to and from work.

Garden Court estates is right across the street from my work. So there's that convenience factor. But my friends and other acquantinces that live there say its dirty and the landlord is a bitch.

I'm conflicted. I don't want to walk an hour to work and back each day but I don't want to pay 40 to 60 dollars more to live in a crap-shack just so its a 1 minute walk to work.

God I hope this is close enough to walk to work. Like, even by the golf course or the shady tree is cool. North Yards is okay.

M'eh. We should be out of here by October 1st.

Sitting in my room watching tv til 3:30 when I have to get out to work.

I was woke up at 10:30 today to heavy pounding on the ceiling. Dad is fixing the roof.

Rheanna had a good idea last night. for 775$ a month the three of us can get a two bed-room apartment. That works out to about 258$ a month and considering I make around 1100$ a month, that should be no problem!

So come mid-september or the beginning of October ( HOCKEY SEASON!!!!! ) I should be living on my own.

I can't wait to sit in my own livingroom with my own joints and watch hockey.

Anyone in Squish that gets as excited about the Canucks playing as much as I do, let me know and you can watch the games with me!

Anyway, nothing's happened yet today, so this post is short.

I get to goto work at 4:30pm today and replace Nic. <lj:music>Inevitibility of Death - Tragically Hip</lj:music>

today was fucking nuts.

I Got to work to find Nic ( the 16 year old waste of payroll ) didn't put anything away, didn't call anyone on the late list ( meaning it'll be twice as big for me tomorrow! ) and didn't write the names on the reserved movies so I didn't know what movie went to whom!

Gah, to top it all off today was the day that everybody's mother and their dog wanted to come watch a movie on a SUNNY day, cause we've had so many in a row that they don't care anymore! I don't get a day out in the sun again until Monday the 29th and damn it I'm gonna be at the lake with a few joints and some munchies and maybe some buddies. Thankfully John and Rheanna came in a bit before close and helped me put movies away. They're awesome.

Vincent ( the other employee ) is still on his five day vacation; Nic takes his upon Vincent's ( hereto on referred to as Vinnie ) return. I'm leaving on Nic's return. Kelowna bound for my Aunt Margie's birthday. Which happens to fall on my late grandfather's birthday. So the family is getting together to... well, drink I suppose.

We didn't have a funeral for grandpa. We all got together in Kelowna and Vernon and got hammered. My dad threw up from being so drunk. Or maybe it was his being in a hot-boxed van ( 11 occupants, himself included ) and being the only one not smoking. It doesn't matter. Apparently my Uncle Gino ( grandfather's name too. ) was kicked by a mule and fell down a hill. I wish I had seen that. I was too busy circulating the room pissed out of my mind.
Grandpa liked 151. We all had shots and toasted him. Needless to say, we got loud.

Anyway, this got too far off topic.

My trip to Kelowna is for the birthdays, but its also about relaxing. I haven't had a vacation since New Years 2004. I'm freakin' beat from working.

Speaking of being tired, I'm going to sleep.

" puffy lips.
glistening skin.
and everything comes rushing in.
we don't goto hell memories of us do.
and if you goto hell I'll still remember you. "

" fantastic gap
common space
open concept in your smiling face
we don't goto hell memories of us do.
and if you goto hell i'll still remember you "

" I thought you beat the death of inevitability to death just a little bit.
I thought you beat the inevitability of death to death just a little bit.
if you haven't already, I suggest you rent Layer Cake on Tuesday when it comes out.

poor drug dealer wants to retire but is forced into trying to find a buyer for 1,000,000 pills of E.

from the producers of Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

it rocked.

other than that, I went into work a few minutes ago to return the movies that come out tomorrow and had to listen to my boss complain about the new kid he hired. It's not my fault if you hired him cause he's my grade 10 english teacher's son! It's not my fault he never stops listening to his music or wearing his hat. But I have to remind him of how to do everything over and over.

But anyway, I have to work tomorrow at 4:30pm. I'm getting sleepy so I think I'll goto bed or something. Who knows.

Today was fun. Kind of.

I went to John's house around one this afternoon and at around three we hit Browning Lake. It was chilly but it warmed up as I got used to it.

Other than that, we're here at John's watching Monday Night Raw. It's my only day off until next Monday but thats okay.

Not much else to say. Slow, relaxing day.

I just remembered I had a livejournal account. It had been so long since I have come here.

I have to admit though, my lack of interest still remains.

Not to much has happened in the time I've spent away. ( I'll find out how long it actually has been once I post this I guess. ) I've been working at Highland Video ( Justin's former job ) here in Squish still living at home, but am hoping to move out sometime in October. ( please god please )

mostly I came here to try to get a hold of Harmony again. So, if you're reading this, reply please. I've been thinking about you lately and was wondering what you're up to.

secondly, I realized at least here, I can keep in touch with some of my friends, as I have had little to no social interaction since I started working.

Anyway, I'll try to drop a line or so in here as much as I can. I have a trip coming up to Kelowna on the 1st of September ( yay ) so I won't be around then for a few days. Not that it matters though, if my livejournal is anything like it was when I last posted, no one will notice. )

mmm, something cheerful to go out on....

Layer Cake is coming out Tuesday. I have it now, looks good.

" and all the roads that lead us there are winding,
and all the lights that light the way are blinding.
there are many things that I would like to say to you
but I don't know how.
cause maybe,
you're gonna be the one that saves me.
and after all,
you're my wonderwall.
